Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs)

The G-Tender DIECI is a rigid inflatable boat (RIB) that is lightweight, high-performance powerboat constructed with a solid hull, and inflatable tubes or ‘sponsons’ around the outer edge. The addition of inflatable tubes to a solid hull increases the shock-absorbing qualities of the vessel giving it a hull that can essentially change shape under the impact of waves, something that is unique to a RIB.

The rigid inflatable boat design is constructed to be aerodynamic, have a low center of gravity and hydroplane across the water. Since they are lightweight, they compete with other recreational vessels but are becoming even more attractive as they move in and out of the water with fewer collision concerns and more accurate maneuvering.
